A Love Story

Here is my entry for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #121 - Wedding Bliss.  I keep on thinking that this layout is too simple or something is missing from it but nothing is coming to my mind, so I'm just letting it be.

These are very old pictures, we got married in 2005! It's crazy, in 3 more years we'll be having our 10 year anniversary. =,) Ok, so you know the saying "a picture has a thousand words" well it's true for our wedding.  For instance, our wedding rings, my husband didn't want anything special but to find that ring took forever to find.  We finally found it at Sears for a $100.  My ring is quite the opposite.  I found it in two-shakes-and-a-Jimmy and we paid $1.99 for the ring and $2.00 shipping.  We didn't have the finances to purchase a real diamond ring but it didn't matter to me, what did matter to me was being with him for the rest of my life.

Beach Day - Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge #75

As soon as I saw Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge #75 - Summer Fun, I knew what I wanted to do but I didn't know the layout.  So I did what any other scraper would do, go down to their favorite scrapbooking store and take over their floor! =)  These cuts are made from Island Scrapbooking.  They are locally made, here in our little town of Hilo, Hawaii and they are exclusive to the store.  The owner of the store, is my best friend/sister at heart.  If you are interested in getting these cuts (they are available for sale), please feel free to contact Island Scrapbooking.  She knows I made this layout, she helped me too, so just mention the "beach day layout" and she'll know what you are talking about.

Here is some close up of her cuts:
Medium Hibiscus - 6 count, comes in these 3 colors, 2 of each color
6" Monstera Border - pack of 3
Fern Punch Art - comes in 2 shades of green, IDK how many of each
"Beach Day" is made with Cricut NOT Island Scrapbooking

Dear Santa

I orginally was going to use this for a page, for something along the lines of "writing my thank you cards" but instead I came up with this =)  For anyone who's wondering, yes...this was part of our Christmas pictures.  She just finished up opening up all her presents while I was taking pictures of her opening them, shortly thereafter my husband and I started opening up our Christmas presents/my birthday cards when she found one of our cards and started to write on one of the cards.  I thought it was cute, so I snapped a picture.  =)

I'm entering this into the following challenges:
Cooking with Cricut - Christmas in July - Cricut & Scraps
Bitten By The Bug 2 - Christmas in July
Celebrate The Occasion - Challenge #72 - Star Struck

Bunny Love - SOUS Die Cut Challenge - Hidden Tags

This layout was made for the SOUS Die Cut Challenge - Hidden Tags.  Do you see my hidden tag?  ^_^  This challenge was really fun!  I enjoyed it a lot!

Here's the material that I used for this project:
Cardstocks:
My Mind's Eye - Lime Twist - Fly a Kite "Genuine" Sky Paper
EchoPark Paper Co. - Springtime - Fresh Flowers
Yellow Patterned Paper: Didn't have any company listed
Purple Poka Dots: Doodlebug Design Inc. - Hello Spring - Chickadees
Off White Patterned Paper with Flowers and Swirls - Its one of my favorite papers and I only have scrap pieces of it left, so I don't know the company that made it.
Light Blue Cardstock: I know it's Bazzill but I don't know the exact color name

Die Cuts:
Scallop Circle - Cricut Elegant Edges - 11 3/4" (just as a heads up, the cut went over the cutting area so be prepared to do a little trimming)
Circle - Cricut Street Signs - 9 1/2"
Title, "Bunny Love" - Cricut Don Juan
Martha Stewart Daisy Fan Deep Edge Punch

Did you find my tag yet?  Here's a hint, one of my crafting buddy used the Daisy Fan Punch as her Christmas tags.  Here's my tag:

Have a great day everyone!  See you soon.

Footprints

I found this post in my drafts, so please excuse that it's a little dated. =S

Written a while ago:
Sorry, I know the coloring of the picture is kinda junk. I took it with my phone, since I can't find my camera battery charger. :( These footprints was done a while back but I only got a chance to make the layout. I actually have like 3 or 4 more footprint layouts I need to do. Eeek! And my daughter keeps on growing so I keep on making more footprints! Ai-yai-yai! LOL. Some days I wish I could just push "pause" on her so I can catch up with her. Time flies so quickly now!
Until next time! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy 4th of July

Well, it surely been a while since I posted.  I've been so caught up with school, my husband, and our daughter that time just flew by.  And if you're a parent, you understand how crazy the first 12 months are.  LOL.  Our daughter is 18 months now and my husband and I are enjoying our new lives.  Hopefully now that I finally found some time, I'll be able to post more.  Some might not have much information, just mainly pictures, others will have an entire novel attached to it, I apologize now for that.  Reason for that is because I use the net to help gain inspiration and then go off and create my own layouts.  Especially when it comes to Cricut, you are a little limited at times.  Anyway!  Let's get to the good stuff.

What inspired me to craft again was SOUS Flag Die Cut Challenge.  Thanks guys!  These are my layouts from last year's 4th of July.  Both layouts are made with Cricut's Independence Day Cartridge.  I don't remember the sizes but I do know that the paper I used was Bazzill's Blue, Bazzill Cardinal, Bazzill French Vanilla, Bazzill's Black (sorry, I can't remember the actual name) and cheap white cardstock.

Happy 4th of July!  Hope to see you soon and hopefully, it won't be another year.
