Fairy Hello Kitty Notebook

Sorry, I've been posting so much, I'm running out of things to say. LOL. I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween. The hubbie and I went over to my parents house and passed out candy, then we came home. We didn't do anything fun, we didn't dress up, we didn't go anywhere special...just the usual. We're such home-bodies. When we got home, I just wipped this up, had the idea for a couple of days...finally got a chance to do it.

Supplies used:
Doodlebug Designer Paper
Bazzill Cardstock
Hello Kitty Font Cricut Cartridge - HK9 at 5"
Ribbon

Blue Notebook

I enjoyed the purple notebook so much, I made another but in blue. The only difference between this one and the purple one is, that this time I used Bazzill Kevin Cardstock. BTW, "Kevin" cardstock REALLY stinks (smell wise)! Serious! Try, try. :P

Hope to see you soon! Enjoy the rest of your week.

Lots of Bazzill Cardstock/Bling/Soothies
Cricut Pooh Font Cartridge

Baby Onesie's Project

My big turtle...
My little turtle and...
My froggie

I had such a blast making all these onesies! But, I gotta tell you guys this store while making these onesies. LOL. First, I was trying to calculate how many 12x12 sheets I'll need, since it's the weekend, I'm lazy and grabbed my calculator. I know that I can make 2 onesies on 1 12x12 sheet...with me so far? K...then I thought I was making 18 turtles and 18 frogs, so that equals to 36 onesies. Here's the first brain fart...I went on my calculator: 18+18=36, then went..36 divided by 2. LOL when I saw the answer. It gets more interesting as the day goes on. Then somehow I miss placed my exacto knife...thought I left it in my craft room, not there...went to the living room, not there...remembered that baby was hungry and checked the kitchen, not there...went to the car, not there. OMG I was so worried that I put it someplace weird, texted my hunnie told him be careful when you get home because there's a VERY SHARP exacto knife somewhere in our house. I really needed an exacto knife...went down to Island Scrapbooking, picked up another exacto knife, the correct amount of 12x12 paper and bought a crap load of stuff. Came home and started working on this project. As the night went on, FINALLY finished cutting out ALL the pieces I needed, started gluing things on. Fortunately, during this time I found my old exacto knife that I thought I lost...it was under my keyboard. I started to think to myself: OMG, how am I gonna survive when I have a baby in the house???? I can't be doing this kinda of stupid things. But picked myself up and went back to crafting. Lastly I made my BIGGEST brain fart ever. I ended up making 18 one-inch turtles, 18 one and a quarter inch turtles, and 18 froggies. Somehow my brain thought 18+18+18=36! LMAO. OMG, what a night! It's been crazy but so enjoyable to craft ALL DAY LONG! :D

Special thanks to my gf Stephanie Diec for helping me make all of these! It was so fun to craft with you! We definitely need to do it again! :D

OH! Btw, to top it all off...I didn't even make 36 oneies...I miscalculated again. We ended up only making 32. LOL....it must of been on crazy night, that night when I was cutting everything.

Here's everything I used to make these onesies:
Cardstock: Bazzill White, Bazzill Hillary, Bazzill Parakeet, Bazzill Bitter Chocolate, and a Bazzill Pink (sorry, don't know the exact name)
Stamps: Hero Arts Raindrop Background (S5101)
Ink: Tsukineko Memento Dew Drop - New Sprout
Sizzix: XL Die Baby Onesie, Embossing Folder - Burlap & Swirls Set (656645)
Spellbinders: Classic Scalloped Circles
Cricut: Create a Critter for turltes and froggies
Silver Quicklets

Hope you guys had a chuckle out of my day. I know I'm still laughing.

Happy crafting everyone!

Daddy's Birthday

Last month my papa made a young 74 years old. No, I didn't get that mixed up with 47, he's a very handsome 74. He's my superman. Since his niece and her other half was on the island, the family went and spent the night in Waikoloa. We had a DELICIOUS dinner at Roy's, baby was very happy with everything!

Daddy (left) and Uncle Tom (right)
I love this picture! I absolutely love my dad's laugh and smile.

So the plate says, "Congratulations" there's a story to this. One of James' and I great friends works at Roy's. Every opportunity we have to eat at Roy's we always request our friend. So our friend hooked us (James and I) up with their DELICIOUS chocolate cake, with OOZING WARM chocolate sauce in the middle. :9 Our friend celebrated our wonderful blessing still growing in my belly. Baby LOVED every moment My mom forgot to tell Roy's that it was Daddy's and Uncle Tom's birthday, so we shared the cake with Dad and Uncle Tom.

Me and my hunnie

My family

My dad is a huge golfer! He's golfing every Thursday, (most) Fridays, Saturday, and Sunday. Here's my gift and card for his birthday:
And because we're expecting and I'm gonna cherish every moment when dad holds his grandchild...

Handmade Lei's for Donna and Jack

Forgot to post these pictures. Over the summer, I've learned how to make a "Double Pikake Lei". I made two of these lei's...one for Donna and one for Jack.

I really enjoyed making these lei's, I've actually started on another one right after I had finished these two leis. :) It's something you can pick up anytime and just continue where you left off.

Until next time, happy crafting!

For a childhood friend

A special set for a special childhood friend...

I made this set for a great friend. Growing up on the same street and over the "hana-bada" days, we've created a friendship that will last a lifetime! She'll be moving to North Dakota to get her masters in Kinesiology. We always laughed about the good ol' days, where we would ride our bikes up and down the street, playing at each other houses, going to the "Mansion", and simply put BEING KIDS! :D I'd made this set just for her because, as you can tell...she has a thing for penguins.

All penguins are made with "Create a Critter" Cricut Cartridge

My BIG oops but beautiful creation!
I didn't take Debi's class for Distress Inking, I didn't look online for any instructions, I just played and made a big oops. Stubbron headed me, I thought I could figure it out. I versa'd, pearl ex'd, and then tried to distress. Got so sad when I found out that I did it all backwards! :( So I took my creation and worked around it.

Enjoy crafting!

Materials Used:
Bazzill Hillary Cardstock
Brown Cardstock
Purple Cardstock
Island Paperie - Lauhala Designer Pages
Lettering: Cricut Cartridge - Calligraphy Collection
Branch: is from Cricut Cartridge - Calligraphy Collection. It's actually two floral designs, that I connected. Additionally, one of the designs is flipped.
Grapes: is from Cricut Cartridge - Plantin SchoolBook, I made 26 circles at 1" and 3/4"

Still looks like something is missing but, hey...I'm crafting and enjoying it before this next semester starts! :( It's gonna be an interesting semester with me being pregnant and taking two 300 level class and two 400 level classes, still the president of the Accounting Club and still trying to be active in the fraternity. I'm sure I'll have fun but it will be filled with challenges!

Happy crafting guys! I'll be posting again. :D

Our 1st Ultrasound

For some reason, I created this page after I created my 2nd ultrasound page. Michele had this paper that I just HAD TO HAVE! OMG, it's SSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute!

Here are the materials I used:
Lions: Cricut Cardridge - Create a Critter (20-00099)
Trees: Sizzix Bigz Die - Tree (655730) *Thank you Michele for letting me borrow)
Grass: Martha Stewarts Grass Punch

Designer Cardstock: Sorry, I don't know...Michele knows though! :P It's a super cute lion paper, she just got it in!

Minor details:
Grass: Ran Copic color BG96 - Bush, along the edge of the grass punch
Tree: Had to extend the tree trunk. I just cut 1/4" strips of brown and added it on.

Other than that, baby is treating me well, thankfully! No morning sickness, I can eat anything I want...baby really enjoys Li hi mui and strawberry ice shave from Kawates, white pineappple, grilled cheese sandwiches, and cappuchino blasts from Baskin Robins. Yum! It's making me hungry again. :9

Anyway, enjoy guys! Happy Crafting!

SUMMER!

Hi everyone!

FINALLY! Phew! It is DONE! :D That was an extremely crazy semester! My accounting 454 final REALLY KILLED ME! :( It was an INTENSE exam but, I'm glad it's over and I'm praying for good grades this semester! Speaking of which...let me check to see if my professor posted my grades....nope, not yet! Well, I've been lucky so far...I have an A for my accounting 351 class and I have a B for my business statistics class.

So...guess what...I just found out last night that I start summer school on Monday. :'( I thought I had one week off, I was so sad when I heard I start school on Monday. But! It will be an interesting summer. This first class is with all of my friends! <3 This class is going to be fun! Then when the second session starts...I will have two classes everyday. Ugh! Sometimes I think I'm crazy!

On good note....My hubbie bought me, my last two sets of COPIC's! :D Super happy about that!

And last but not least, I am excited to say that we are expecting our first loved one. I am 10 weeks and our due date is December 4th. My hubbie is so awesome, he wants me to stay home during my spring semester to take care of baby. <3 So...crafting GALORE...here I come! My parents and his parents are really excited! My mom and my sister has been spilling the beans to everyone! And even my hubbie's dad has been spilling the beans too! It's so cute! I love it!

Hi everyone,

I would give you guys all the colors and what materials I used but, unfortunately.... I made this back in March and totally forgot to write everything down.

Here's a close up of Flutter.

Thanks for checking me out again! Enjoy your day!
